A New Low For The Idiots Overpopulating Facebook

I was just messing around on Facebook and I somehow stumbled onto this group: "I wish I could be anorexic, but I love food too much." The group photo is of an incredibly waif-like model who would literally snap in half if you touch her. There are only two members, and both have officer titles. Once is Hilary Duff and the other is Mary Kate Olsen. One of the girls has posted saying the group makes her laugh "soooooooooooooooo much" and that they need to recruit more members. I do not care if they think it is a joke or not or how fucking funny they find it. This is completely offensive to anyone who actually has had or is currently dealing with a real legitimate eating disorder. The group description reads, "How many times have you decided to not eat to lose a few pounds, but just couldn't do it? Yeah, we feel your pain, and we support you in your endeavors." Excuse me morons, but 'not eating just to lose a few pounds' does not make you anorexic, nor do you even understand the disease at all. You are stupid little girls talking about things you do not understand and most likely never will. Of all the people I have ever know who have had eating disorders, whether it be bulimia or anorexia, not a single one of them would choose to be that way. It is about so much more than just 'losing a few pounds', it is about control and things I can't even explain right now because I am so pissed off that someone would actually create a group like this. I will continue this rant later when I am a tad more calm and better able to express my feelings about this topic.
